I remember seeing Judy Collins singing in Missoula in 1963, give or take a year. When she came out on stage, somebody said, "She walks like a duck!" (I think she had polio or something, and I'm not condoning the comment.)

After she sang a few songs, that same person said "Boy she sure can sing!"

I've always loved Judy Collins.
