Thanks max,

For the "blast from your past".. I always enjoy getting a peek at someone's life history.. It makes someone more real and gives their words in a forum like this more substance.

So this leads me to the subject of "free will".. Kurt V had that as the centerpiece of many of his novels.. And KV (RIP) was one of the great thinkers we have ever put out.

I'm with Kurt on this issue, if we have any at all, it is very limited, and it takes courage to break the life's script that one was handed to them as they headed out onto this plane or plain..:)

For example, if you would have "behaved normally" and not broken your "script" on the test, you might have went on and got unlimited education, etc and then developed the most hideous weapon ever devised or found the the "holy grail" to paradise here on earth.. Maybe you have the latter, I don't know.. :).. But if it was the former, like Einstein, you might have lived the rest of your life in guilt.

Back to free will or life's script.. I believe all our given a life's script, but it can be altered if one has BOTH the courage and intelligence to recognize where it can be wrong. The EASY WAY to live life is to follow it.... That's why most do not change and want to continue the status quo even if it doesn't work, like on wars, etc... But the relatively small percentage that will alter their life's script are the evolutionary leaders..

In a way, we are being "tested" in the here and now, to see if we pass and can move on to the "next grade"..

c,

Rambling on from the 8th grade trying to get into high school..My hero, Kurt just graduated with a BS and is headed to grad school.. :)
