I'm with you on the waste of power when they had it. The Republicans proved something to me, that my uncle Leonard was right. Voting Republican or voting Democrat is like choosing between the white pig and the black pig, either way you get a pig and they all feed at the same trough. They proved when in control they are perfectly content to spend like drunken sailors on shore leave. Makes me appreciate gridlock. The way we are now they can do far less damage. They could have done so much like fixing the SS system. Instead we will proceed head in sand until the unquestioned implosion of the ponzi scheme.
