The NRA is for the maximum amount of high-powered and even military weapons in our society. That is their goal. But they lie saying they're all about "gun safety". BS. They are the gun lobby and they are alligned with the most extreme rightwing types in our land, the militia movement and neo-fascists, known out west as the Ranch Nazis. Also know often as emotionally damaged men with smalll penis complexes.

I bet that the NRA will hold another rally near Virginia Tech soon. Yessiree the gun lobby's logic that arm everyone and there'll be no violence would be hilarious if it were'nt for the truth that liberal gun laws result in such tragedies of these. All guns not intended for hunting should be banned outright! Put the 9mm and other handgun manufacturers out of business. Put the manufacturers of assault weapons out of business. Restrict these weapons to the military and the police. It can be done.
