What ARE you saying, michael??? Are you equating Goldwater with Maddox??????? Are you nuts? You ought to be happy that unclewest and other men (few women) were out representing the US so that you were free to play. By calling him childish names only speaks for you. Not him. In those days, I was getting over some medical problems, then young and in love, getting married, and then having babies.... I was nearly sick to my stomach thinking of people like you frolicking while our guys were dying in VN. People like you wouldn't know courage if it smacked you upside the head.
