Here in MO they were soooooo against issuing CCWs. Finally it passed, all the idiots stated how it would turn into the wild west. Guess what. Like 1200 people applied, that's it. Non-issue.

We already have some gun control. There are background checks and waiting periods. I am for these types of measures. We have licences for driving and we ought to have licenses for guns as well. This might include some basic gun safety examinations. I would hold all black powder muzzle loaders exempt from the rules, since these were the type of arms that were constitutionally protected at the time. We all agree that everyone having a rocket launcher in the backyard would not be good for public safety.
