But you're right. Most Koreans take this personally. Especially in South Korea these days, where national pride is at an all-time high. Even President Roh is treating the whole thing very seriously. I am not sure why Korea is taking this personally. The guy lived most of his life in the US.........15 out of 23 years.

Do you identify more as Korean than American? I thought you were born and raised here.
