But you're right. Most Koreans take this personally. Especially in South Korea these days, where national pride is at an all-time high. Even President Roh is treating the whole thing very seriously.

I am not sure why Korea is taking this personally. The guy lived most of his life in the US.........15 out of 23 years.

Why would you take this personally? Do you identify more as Korean than American? I thought you were born and raised here.
