Facts keep leading me back to the idea that term limits are essential. Congress is totally confused about what they are elected for. They have trained a new generation of minions to misunderstand what Congress' role is. It was envisioned as a place where people who had contributed in life and in business would add the finishing touches to the end of their career. People like Sheila Jackson Lee and John Forbes Kerry are the antithesis of these ideals.
