OK....but that's not what happened in 1967....Israel invaded Egypt. Little argument there.


Yes, Israel did a preemptive strike on Egypt, after a month's crisis during which Nasser closed the straights of Tiran, declared his intentions to destroy Israel, told the UN peacekeepers to leave, and massed his armies on Israel's borders.

A classic case of preemption.

BTW, Israel did not invade Jordan. Levi Eshkol begged King Hussein to stay out of the war, and promised not to attack first. Jordan invaded Israel.
