But we need to have some facts before we start calling for anyone to resign.....First: What happened? I doubt I'll be in favor of resignations. What we see at VT happens everyday in Iraq and in other countries...sometimes several times a day. My initial thinking is DHS failed in their responsibility to prepare local police and school officials, and teach them what to do in the event of a terrorist attack. VT will not be the only University with an incomplete or no plan. This may or may not have been homegrown terrorism, but rest assured it was intended to instill fear and trepidation, and may also have been motivated by revenge. That is as good a definition of terrorism as you will find anywhere.
