OT I understand.. Some times however, they do integrate the songs and the dance numbers quite well.. Obviously it works well if you know and understand the language.. Which I do.. Some of these musical interludes are poetry set to music.. I don't know where you get your indian movies but if you can find it check out "Yun Hota To Kya Hota" .. very very different and contemporary and quite well done by the first time director, Naseeruddin Shah (who played the father in Monsoon Wedding).. And only 1 song.. And I will be very surprised if you can guess how it turns out..
