Did you wander around the ATSC wiki link that I previously posted and find this link ... en.wikipedia.org It just seems to me that adding ATSC to the UBM only complicates matters and dilutes the value of Qualcomm's MediaFLO offering. MPH is an off shoot of 8VSB. Message 23427469 Helping Sinclair might have rewards but it would be nice to see a return on prior efforts before supporting the further canabalization of the mobile TV market. I was thinking more of the economic implications beyond the engineering challenges. We'll see ... eventually.
