Well, when I was a kid I stole some little silver sugar balls my mother had for baking and I put them in my BB gun to see if they would work. My brother was my target. They worked. Don't try this at home. My siblings and I love each other deeply and we are best friends. Because of this I don't feel driven to seek many other friends outside of SI, and most of my friends are very old friends. It is always a treasure to meet new ones, but it doesn't happen very often.

My "little" brother is only some 18 months younger. We fought all the time until we were in high school. I once shot him in the stomach with my BB gun. He "owned" me for about a month after that as I begged him not to tell our Dad. Now, we're both retired and are as close as friends can ever be. He's in Florida and I'm here in Colorado, but we telephone and email several times a week. We both get free long distance so our conversations are often more than an hour long with lots of laughs. He and Sweet Shirley are my very best friends.
