I is a tiny country and with limited room for newcomers. Israel is founded on the principal that it will be a sanctuary for jews who are persecuted like the arab state jews and russian jews were. If israel was the size of the US their immigration policy would be far more liberal. Israel in a sense is preventing itself from disappearing like kosovo where the serbs moved out and the albanians in. Because the pals are next door does not give them the right to become citizens or change the nature of the state. Like the illegals you rail against here.
