Everyone who lives in America, except for a few whackee back to nature tax protestors, sucks something from Nanny's large bosoms- and you could even argue the tax protestor survivalist types benefit, since in a large peaceful country like ours you can do whackee stuff and not get killed for it by angry mobs, and you have to be really weird or antagonistic or criminal for the government to come after you. There is no one who wants nanny to go away. Some people want to keep nanny to themselves- in that they like the things that benefit them (or even worse, don't understand the things that benefit them), but they want to take benefits away from others. That's not being against the nanny state, that's just not wanting to share her :-) I, for example, recognize that Nanny might be interested in getting involved in what medicines we take, and when and how women have babies. But I think having Nanny crawl up your orifices is possibly over kill. But that's me.
