come on. These kids hid behind desks from a gunman. The Israeli teacher tried to stop him(he was 77 yrs old). If you want to play the "if" game then the first class should've rushed him. Maybe 5 die and the rest live.

I think most of us who own guns don't own them to protect ourselves from the world at large, which is almost entirely non-threatening, but rather from a segment of the population here in the U.S., which we happen to be stuck with and which is given to unbelievably savage behavior. Deport the people with a propensity for violent crime and I'll surrender my gun. If I lived in Canada, Norway, Germany, Japan, Australia and 50 other nations it would never occur to me to buy a gun. The problem is I live in the U.S.

Gee what can I say? Stoopid is a compliment to many of these gun toters. I say tear up the constitution if this is what it had in mind and bring in Singapore Laws.
