I'm not going to spend all day debating what does & does not fall into reasonably credible harsh rhetoric. No matter where I draw the line there some folks will disagree with me for a myriad of reasons.

Since I will never satisfy every POV, I'm going to apply my, 'I'll know it when I see it' standard as impartially as I know how. Those who disagree may PM me with their thoughts.

However, in the instance you cited (first link below), Oeconomicus simply indicated that he did not "generally respect and agree with" your POV's. That is his right whether or not others agree with that assessment. IMO, it does not, on it's own, constitute improper or unreasonably harsh rhetoric.

Your post (second link) could not be reasonably credible because you have no idea how he treats his wife (family or any 3D peers). And intimating he's an a$$hole, IMO, is something that should be reserved for the most vile, extreme & repugnant people. Even then it should be rarely invoked. Oeconomicus is nothing remotely close to any of that.
