The students should have the choice, if they have no criminal record and pass the required safety/legal training.

If you knew everyone was armed, would you think twice before committing a violent crime? I know I sure would. I don't have eyes in the back of my head.

I think you should read a few more posts... I'm not advocating anything of a sort, and least of all, guns in schools or on campuses.

Just don't sell a gun to someone who's being medically treated for depression. Is it that hard to look up pharmacy databases?

A bill to allow students and teachers to carry concealed weapons never made it to the assembly.
