I think we can agree on one fact, which is that you will never be able to restrict access to hunting rifles in this country. There is zero percent chance of that happening. The Michigan incident and the university incident both involved mentally unstable persons using rifles. Gun control will not be able to stop that. Trained and armed citizens might, but I stop short of saying it will. Depends how many people are willing to take the effort and responsibility to do it.
