"You are either with us or against us". That does create a problem for QCOM. Brent Scowcroft was against the invasion of Iraq. Al Gore and Bill Clinton were buddies with Irwin. Bernie Schwartz was a Democratic donor.

I suppose King George II looks over the QCOM fence and doesn't see supporters. But he should see large cash flow which will go awry if China doesn't pay royalties.

The rules in Arabia - the enemy of my enemy is my friend. He can be my enemy later when my enemy is finished and the cash is in reach.

China/Chinese companies won't be paying royalties unless they get politically squeezed - especially on TD-SCDMA which they think they invented.
