You clearly do not understand what gun ownership is about. It's about responsibility and personal protection. It is true that some idiots get on power trips because they have a weapon, like the woman who shot at a driver a few weeks ago for cutting her off on the freeway. She spent quite a bit of time in prison for that, and deservedly so. You talk as if everyone who owns a weapon is like that when the vast majority aren't. You won't even know who does and doesn't have a concealed weapon most of the time. Those people tend to be more cautious and less prone to fits of anger when they are carrying because they understand the ramifications. I avoid any type of confrontation when I carry, and NO ONE knows when I am armed unless they appear to be looking for trouble and can read my subtle warning signals.
