You baggin' it today?

=================================

Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)

I woke up this mornin' with the sundown shinin' in
I found my mind in a brown paper bag within
I tripped on a cloud and fell-a eight miles high
I tore my mind on a jagged sky
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

(Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)

I pushed my soul in a deep dark hole and then I followed it in
I watched myself crawlin' out as I was a-crawlin' in
I got up so tight I couldn't unwind
I saw so much I broke my mind
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

(Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what condition my condition was in)

Someone painted "April Fool" in big black letters on a "Dead End" sign
I had my foot on the gas as I left the road and blew out my mind
Eight miles outta Memphis and I got no spare
Eight miles straight up downtown somewhere
I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in

I said I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in
Yeah
yeah
oh-yeah

(Kenny Rogers)

Heard this on xm yesterday. I remembered where i heard it first and what brand i was smoking when i first heard it. Actually it was unbranded and this song made me cry as my gf at this time was susan too. Of course with me it was susan on the eastcoast waiting for Mikey in chicago studying

Donovan - To Susan On The West Coast Waiting

Dear Susan, I know you love me so
But I want to hear it in my ear.
You know I'd be there working at my craft
Had it not been for the draft.
Dry up your tear and feel no fear,
You're here with me like I'm there with you.

To Susan on the West Coast waiting,
>From Andy in Vietnam fighting.
To Susan on the West Coast waiting,
>From Andy in Vietnam fighting.

I'm writing a note beneath a tree,
The smell of the rain on the greenery.
Our fathers have painfully lost their way,
That's why, my love, I'm here today
Hear me when I say there will come a day
When Kings will know and love can grow.

To Susan on the West Coast waiting,
>From Andy in Vietnam fighting.
To Susan on the West Coast waiting,
>From Andy in Vietnam fighting.

To Susan on the West Coast waiting,
>From Andy in Vietnam fighting.
To Susan on the West Coast waiting,
>From Andy in Vietnam fighting.

Susan, I know you love me so
But I'd like to hear it in my ear.

To Susan on the West Coast waiting,
>From Andy supposedly hating.
To Susan on the West Coast waiting,
>From Andy in Vietnam fighting

What was your lottery number? I can still remember the cheer that went up when my number was called but i cant remember what it was. Man it was like the weight of the world was taken off my shoulders. I used to feel guilty about avoiding vietnam but i dont anymore. With LBJ's admission that the peaceniks were right along with the fact that only KLP is left to support the vietnam war proves that we probably saved some 20,000 more deaths with the protests. I was working for RFK in 68. If he wasnt killled the last 20k who died would be alive today. "Goddam i do declare." Greatful Dead "Where did the time go"
