We will have a true "vote with your feet" test when we see how many campuses move to permit firearms vs. the number who try to ban them completely. Good point. But my guess is that fight will not take place at the campus level. More likely state legislatures will do so. Just read a piece in the WSJ to the effect that Utah had sanctioned carrying weapons wherever. The state university said, no thanks, not on the campus. But lost the subsequent suit. I'm afraid the strangle hold that the gun lobby has on politics will have to be broken. And that takes us back to one of my favorite topics: campaign finance reform.
