Of course, if he'd had a CCW and legally carried a concealed gun on campus, that would have been grounds for expulsion, just like the grad student a couple years ago.

Why would an alien, even though legal, be issued a CCW permit? I wouldn't support that without a very powerful argument in favor of it convincing me otherwise.
