yes, and that was heroic

he was using his unique training unencumbered by higher ups and police protocol to save lives....highly commendable, he truly put his life at risk from even his fellow officers

and as an aside, being a utah resident, i have a higher degree of respect for the police than i do otherwise....i call them the 'dudley do-rights' (affectionately so)

Salt Lake is exceptional. The cops got there so fast because they had nothing better to do. lol

Seriously though, the SLC PD is a very fine police force. Disciplined, polite, and professional. I think the LDS upbringing has alot to do with it.
