Once of the people in the Appalachian shooting (Gross) was an off duty officer, and he ALSO retrieved a bullet proof vest. Did you post that too? Um no, I don't see it. Hardly the profile of a true vigilante, and it hardly jibes with "police can't be everywhere". Now does it?

Not that they CAN be everywhere, but in this case a policeman WAS there, so it's hardly a decent example for you.
