Ok, that seems to be a reasonable position. I do not agree with all of it; I think some sort of registration would help, not so much to keep track of who has guns as to make sure they are tracked, and illegal ones removed.

But, the question comes up: if you believe that owning a gun is a right, when is that right revoked? Clearly we don't want guns in the hands of felons, but what about the mentally ill?
