Thats news to me. Here in Fla. even with a concealed weapon if you were to FLASH it you are guilty of a crime. Only way you can transport a weapon here of any type is either in a locked container or disassembled and for sure NOT LOADED.

That is a real shame. I'm not a lawyer, but I don't see why you let Florida negate your 2nd Amendment rights. Is that a recent change? I don't recall it being that way when I lived in Florida.

I don't know about every state. I have previously checked the handgun laws in the states I most often visit. Reason being - I usually carry and I carry loaded with a round chambered.

In North carolina and Virginia the 2nd Amendment right to openly and visibly bear arms (yes including pistols), with or without a concealed carry permit, is intact.
Nevada was the same when I lived there and residents did not need a background check to buy guns and/or ammo in NV. Just a NV driver's license.

Several other states I travel in are the same including Idaho and Montana where I plan to be for the month of July. In these two states it is very common to see men and women...(but mostly men) openly packing, particularly in the rural areas.
