Yup.

I had a very strange encounter with a guy when I was taking my son to school. I drive quiet residential streets, and I go between 20-25, because so many kids are on the streets doing stupid things- coming up on a turn in the wrong lane (where you would hit them if you were turning too fast) skateboarding down the street, jaywalking- anyway, this guy came up on me REALLY fast, but I didn't worry about, since I was turning. I signalled, and suddenly he honked at me! So I flashed him a "2" and "5"- something other people do around here- that is a reminder of the speed limit.

he went past, I turned. Suddenly, I see him zooming up on me again. He followed me several blocks. When I got my son to school I told him to get out of the car and get away from it as fast as possible, and THEN to get his phone out.

We stop. The man erupts from his car and RACES up to my window. "Did you flip me off? Did you flip me off?"

And I said "No, I flashed you a 25- for the speed limit" I demonstrate. "I thought you were going a little fast; I worry about the kids"

"Ok. We're done here."

We're DONE here? That nut ruined my morning, and would have given me a heart attack had I had a heart condition. What a freak. I can only hope HE doesn't carry a gun around. It's bad enough he has a car.
