re: I really believe that ethanol is a red herring. It is... but I think it may eventually be the best solution for things like over-the-road trucks where electric may never be a practical solution. Did you see that movie "Who Killed the Electric Car"? It supposed to be good... have to rent it one of these days. The people who were testing the Ev's LOVED them, and didn't want to give them back. Some went over 100K miles with zero maintenance and zero problems.
