The Chinese have a train to Tibet that, when it gets above a certain altitude, oxygen masks drop from the ceiling!

re: What I wouldn't do to have fast trains in this country.

And to think the Chinese are paying for their magnificent trains with out trade deficit dollars (that Tim doesn't think matter). It's almost as onerous as the terrorists getting their funding from our petrodollars.

And lets not forget Dubai and all the other Arab oil capitals with their multi story 'see through' buildings [in the R.E. business, that's what they call buildings without tenants]. As I posted to Elroy, AOL recently had this big article on Abu Dhabi and how it wants to catch up to Dubai in growth. In addition, there was a slide show of Dubai........its amazing all the little wonders they have in that city........islands shaped like palm trees, huge amusement parks with spectular rides, a toboggan run on real snow etc. all paid with yours and my petrodollars.

One last thing......Iran is trying to start an org. like OPEC for natural gas. Not likely to get off the ground but if it does, it would spell more trouble for the world.
