RUSH: All right, folks, we're going to do a poll at www.RushLimbaugh.com. Remember, last week during the Imus flap I agreed with the Reverends Jackson and Sharpton that MSNBC, from three p.m. 'til midnight is all white, all night. There's no diversity whatsoever on the air in primetime in terms of anchors and hosts at MSNBC. The Reverends Jackson and Sharpton are exactly right about this. And of course all those hosts at MSNBC were going overboard, yes, there's not enough -- we're not being fair with minorities out there -- and so forth.
So, you know, what are we going to do about this? I think that we need to have some -- one or two of those hosts, in honor of their own hearts and their beliefs, resign and give up their programs to minority hosts. They're telling everybody else now how they ought to live and how we ought to all be diverse and so forth. It's time for them to walk the talk. So here's the question at www.RushLimbaugh.com. Which MSNBC anchor should resign to make room for a minority host? Chris Matthews, Tucker Carlson, or Keith Olbermann? Which of those three? Which MSNBC anchor should resign to make room for a minority host, out of the goodness of their hearts, to follow their beliefs, to show leadership, to show how this is done, in telling everybody else we need more minorities here and there. We need them at MSNBC, Sharpton, Jackson are right. Should it be Chris Matthews, Tucker Carlson, or Keith Olbermann to give up, quit, and turn over their program to a minority? By the way, as you know the Reverend Sharpton's National Action Network convention begins today. Every '08 Democratic presidential candidate is there. I want to remind you, they're now sponsors on this program, the Justice Brothers. Here's the first spot that ran. (Playing of Justice Brothers spot.) Or Koreans, he said. Well, there's a new spot, actually, the second spot. We've got a new spot from the Justice Brothers. We'll get that to you in the first segment of the next hour and get into the discussion of the Reverend Sharpton's agenda at the National Action Network convention, all coming up, so sit tight.
The poll is up and running and you can participate in it now at www.RushLimbaugh.com. The Reverend Jackson and the Reverend Sharpton said last week during the Imus flap that MSNBC, which is owned by NBC, was just too white. It's "all white, all night." I forget the rest of the phrase. They're right. You have to agree with them, and these guys at MSNBC were the first to throw Imus overboard, talking about how unfortunate it was he used all this racial language all the time, all this racism and stuff, and demanding more equity for minorities out there. Of course, when you look at the primetime lineup at MSNBC, you see nothing but white, white, white, white, white. So these people are out there, and they're good liberals, and they're leaders! They're among the smartest among us. They are the smartest among us! They're so right that they tell us how to live and tell everybody else in the country how to live, what they're doing wrong, what they need to correct and so forth.

So we thought that the only logical thing would be for one or two of those people who host primetime shows on MSNBC to resign, out of the goodness of their hearts, to show leadership, to illustrate for the rest of the world how they are willing to sacrifice their own careers or jobs in order so that minorities might have a fair shake in major media. So we're running a poll: "Which MSNBC anchor should resign to make room for a minority host?" The choices are Chris Matthews, Tucker Carlson and Keith Olbermann, and you can go there and vote now, and the vote tally is instant after we register your vote. We will, of course, keep the poll open and running until tomorrow's program at which time we will announce the results. Now, it comes in conjunction with the opening today of the Reverend Sharpton's National Action Network convention. It's a four-day convention. All of the '08 Democrat presidential candidates will show up to address the assembled gathering at the National Action Network convention.

The Reverend Sharpton is going to target rap lingo, rap lyrics. Oh! I've gotta tell you something. Snerdley and I were just talking during the break, and we're in there watching one of the cable nets, and they're printing some of the stuff that the shooter at Virginia Tech wrote, and I looked at the screen, and I said, "Ah, this guy was clearly out of it," and Snerdley looked at me and said, "We are making hasty judgments, and we are coming to a conclusion that may not be fair to the shooter." Of course, my mouth fell open. I said, "What are you talking about, Bo? This guy was clearly not right." He said, "Well, if you just look at what this guy wrote, I defy you -- if somebody gave you a raw screenplay written by Quentin Tarantino such as the Kill Bill parts one and part two movies, or if somebody gave you the raw screenplay to Natural Born Killers by Oliver Stone, would you conclude they're insane? Would you conclude they've got a screw loose? This guy's no different than some of the trash coming out of Hollywood already."

He's been listening to Rush again. Rush was complaining that there were no black's on MSNBC, and Shorty picked up his talking points.
