The B can exceed the start of the A in a "running triangle" (EWP pg 50, 1998 edition) and it's "extremely common" for that to happen in such a triangle.

Hi Henry,

Just wanted you to know I was a player on that zigzag flat.

But now that our guru status has been shattered,I guess I'm at the whim of the market.

Personally I hope Goog shows some outragous run and gets a little respect for tech and all the money it represents.

But then I'm biased and sure wishing the Sox would bust resistance - but I think its pretty quiet on the volume side and expiration.

Looks like 493.25 is breakout - just hopin to smile.

Henry is the irregular flat the more bullish of all those past scenarios? It is isn't it?

Wondering how close to 98 it will look and will there be that final shakeout. or is demand pushing too hard?

98 October happening in July 07?

Bob

And a running triangle here would be "fractally harmonious" if you count the SPX chop from early '04 to late '05 as a running triangle Wave 4 of one larger degree (which is my best-guess LT count at this point). Not that it matters for trading purposes, but just out of curiosity, is that your LT count since the '02 lows on the SPX?

By the way, I hereby copyright the term "fractally harmonious".--g
