Its not a strawman, its a refutation by logical analogy. I'm not asserting or implying that you actually think that we aren't growing any food anymore.

Oh I see, maybe your quibbling over the use of "any" rather than "much". I should have said "Does that mean we aren't growing much food anymore?", rather then "Does that mean we aren't growing any food any more.

And it eventually leads to them being less rich.

Rapid growth of services doesn't lead a country to become less rich. Generally as it happens the country becomes richer.
