"I am in constant awe of the invariably quick handle you have on the facts. But I am more in awe of your equanimity when dealing with folks, here, who not only see the world thru manichean spectacles, avoid the facts, and who are usually derisive in their replies, as if the latter adds credence to their avoidance."

Nadine said: "That's not what the practitioners of it have to say."

As a response to the post I submitted. I would be interested in seeing some references to these practitioners who contradict my statements.

There are estimated to be over a billion Muslim practitioners. Would you be so kind as to show us who these spokes persons for the practitioners are who contradict the post I submitted?

Ehhh, Nadine neglected to sight references, it was one of those 'they say' comments. I've never figured out how people on the outside of a culture are so adept at making themselves spokespersons for what 'they say' who are insiders. I just assume its ignorance or deliberate fraud, but I could be wrong this time. So since you have such a strong grasp of the facts maybe you won't mind ... or maybe you will. Preferably spokespersons who are recognized spokespersons for the entire group, rather than some village wacko brianthebigot likes to quote.

Thanks in advance,
Gem

It might also be useful to consider how her views of things pan out. If you are so inclined go back and look at her views prior to the March 2003 about how Iraq would turn out.

Being correct is something that is just a tiny bit useful in this world.

Nadine wrote that 900,000 Egyptians were amassed in 1967 and that's why Israel attacked Egypt. No source provided.
When it was pointed out twice that the number was 100,000 and these were far fewer than the Israeli forces, no response from NSN. And a source was provided to back up the claim and for a comment.

So much for NSN's "invariably quick handle on the facts".
