Ted, do you think Seung Hui was autistic? I heard that theory over the radio.

It sure seems like it might be that.........certainly, he talks like someone autistic. However, his aunt said that before he came to the US, he was a pretty normal kid and that he got into trouble when the kids made fun of his poor command of English. I remember when I was in the 4th grade I would have trouble saying certain words because my parents both were from New England and said those words differently than the local dialect. I was forced to go to speech school for a while. While the kids didn't taunt me like they did Cho, I remember feeling a great deal of embarrassment and unease when I spoke. I imagine the pain for Cho was much worse.

Interestingly enough, the theme of having been bullied runs through the histories of these perpetrators of mass killings.

BTW, his Korean aunt also called Cho an idiot.
