I don't know. I do know that clutter can become a serious matter to contend with.

When we moved into our present house, in forty years the previous owner never threw anything away, such as if she had plumbing repaired she kept the broken piece and saved it. I was told she said she paid for it originally and it was hers to keep. What a job that provided for us. Took six weeks to clean out the attic and another three months to clean out the garage. We are not that bad, but do have a lot of things we could probably get rid of to make more room for "stuff". I am still thinking about calling our children over and asking them what they would like to have right now, within limits, so they don't clean us out to the walls. LOL
