The economy is fueled by massive deficit spending, including the war, and wars are always good for economies until the bill has to be paid. The Bushie benefits go almost totally to the top 1%, th real economic elite, somewhat to the top 5% and almost nothing for anyone below that. In fact the huge majority of Americans are being screwed. And don't believe the Bushie unemployment figures. They aren't counting tens of millions. Plus the dissolving of health benefits and pension security as well as job security itself. Meanwhile the CEO's of oil companies are taking down hundreds of millions in a single year.
