I had been challenged for writing a post saying Bush lied. I posted it because I thought that it would be informative and certainly spell out my position better than I could or chose to do.

I really got lambasted for even bringing that message to the thread... So I am glad to see that you brought it here as
I think it behooves every American to watch the program.

Bill Moyers is thought by some to be too left of center...

Thanks for posting this, Sam. I'll put it on the Tivo. Moyers is one of my journalist heroes.

Hopefully, there will be many books on the media failure. But KnightRidder/McClatchy was/are special.

I observed the Press' failure to question the White House's version of things in the runup to the war, and was appalled. They were just acting as mouthpieces for the Administration. What's amazing is that even during that period, you'd still hear conservatives complaining that the media is biased toward the left.

At this point, the media appears to have woken up.
