And require a certain number of hours at a gun range per year. But that will never happen. I don't have a problem with gun ownership. I think some training should be required, you need it to drive a car, don't you? But that is almost never done. So people get the idea that waving a gun around is a good way to settle a dispute. Then get shocked when they are arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. Few people understand that assault is just the threat, actually plugging the guy is yet another crime.
