hopefully , someone is looking at both sides of the issues and not tunnel vision. Thank you. That really was the crux of the matter to me. Well, that and then correcting the impression that I wanted to take away all guns. Oh, and that not all of us at Center believe this is a safe, happy little world where no one needs a gun. Most people understand the reality, but some have different suggestions for dealing with it. It is a bit like drivers licenses, in that most people think they themselves are terrific drivers, way more qualified than all the other nuts on the road. There is some comfort in knowing that at least the other guy has had to go through some kind of training and testing. But I actually agree with UW and Lindy that ultimately it is I who is responsible for my own safety. And if you think I or my husband don;t take that seriously, you don;t know us well.
