It's just another strategy that some, here, employ to take things out of context in order for them to have the lame excuse for calling someone a bigot. I take these diatribes for that they're worth.

Oh, I know.. I've dealt with Sarman's justifications and truth-dodging before. And I'm pretty sure he won't have the guts to give anyone a straight answer to the question I posted.

Rapes, Murders, and crime in general, occurs in all societies, not just Muslim. But what is missing is a sense of outrage by the majority of Muslims against those who was teach that punishing people merely for reading about someone else's faith (or even converting to that faith- Kafirism) is a crime punishable by rape or murder (Takfirism). I know I certainly wouldn't be defending any so called "christian" who believed he had the right to defile, or kill, a woman (or anyone else) for being a spiritual free-thinker. The last thing God wants from us is to force people to believe in a supreme being.

I'm not sure what kind of odds we have of "domesticating" these intolerant aspects of Islam. However, it should be acknowledged that the same kind of intrinic intolerance once permeating past "interpretations" Christianity towards other religious beliefs (heretics), hence the Crusades, so we know it can be done over time (and with much bloodshed along the way).

But while muslims like Sarman continue to stand ready to excuse, or at a minimum, attempt to justify such behavior, we know such a belief will continue to permeate that faith.
