I can second that, while many of the oldsters have some physical disabilities IMHO that is not the primary reason for the problem. Honest to God, I believe we have a fair proportion of Seniors driving here that are in at least early stages of Senility. I was hit by an old lady when I was PARKED in a gas station JUST ABOUT to put the gas pump handle into my gas tank to fill up. She hit my jeep so hard she drove it 50 feet WITH THE HAND BRAKE ON. Luckily for me I suffered no damage as I have very strong aftermarket bumpers, but she did great damage to her Mercury Marquis. The gas station attendent went bannanas cause she nearly crushed him between the vehicles. He had hollered at her to STOP and she FLOORED IT, turns out she forget WHICH PEDAL WAS WHICH. jdn
