Yeah.. watched the episode with Richard Perle the other night.. Thought he was very up front about where he derived his views about America's roll in trying to thwart militant Islam (and not peaceful Islam).

Thought it ironic that he mentioned JFK's inaugural address as his inspiration for "neo-conservatism"

Hey, did you see Grover Norquist trying to get the Muslim vote by courting the Muslim Brotherhood? Gee Whiz. Who was candidate George W. Bush meeting with? Gee Whiz.

I agree with Norquist and Karl Rove, though, they're as rightwing, authoritarian, undemocratic and violent as the Republicans....excellent fit.

It's now abundantly clear that all rightwingers the world over are the same people. The ONE saving grave for rightwingers in the US and other industrialized country are the PROGRESSIVES which keep them in a box. All of the benefits we associate with industrialization stem from LIBERALISM.

Without LIBERALISM, we'd all be wondering how in the world we were transported back to the dark ages. That includes rightwingers....they haven't a clue.
