Compared to the US, Germany has had hardly any school shootings.

Hardly any - the two most recent are only eclipsed in magnitude by this most recent VA Tech shooting, before a week ago they were on a par with the worst US shootings and this from a country that has banned handguns.

Who knows what causes the problem .......I suspect its a number of factors but what's galling is how much energy gun lovers put into making sure we have more than our fair share of guns.

What's galling is the fact you won't even attempt to find the real issues or possible ways to reduce the risk - you'll simply create another useless anti-gun law.

And as for England, even as there is a rise in violence in that country, their rate is still lower than the rate for the US.

As you already told us the US has a culture of violence and it's in our genes - now you want us to combat genetics?
