"A" automatically leads to "B". Even if there is no relationship between "A" and "B". It somehow got hardwired in their brain... and no amount of reasoned logic will dissuade them from their fantasy. You can find more than a few examples on this thread. How these people with ideological faith rather than pragmatic logic ended up running the country is amazing.
