it used to be called petroleum jelly

I would use aloe and flaxseed oil.

If you do not have central aid there are air filters that do entire rooms.. I think you can find them by Googling AIR FILTERS and they will bring up up to many sites...

They are not inexpensive but they do work. I don't know about opening your windows.. That might be a no no... It's the outside air that has all the pollens... The inside has dust and dust mites. I got rid of all carpet...as they are harbingers. If you could see what I wipe off my wood floors daily and think of all that being trapped into a carpet I can see why dust mites form. I try to have an environmentally safe home both in the mountains and here in Florida.
