They did. The girl's boyfriend and her had a fight, and it was known he had a gun. So, they did what any police agency would do, they dragged the boyfriend in and got a search warrant. While in the middle of the interrogation, a call came in about another shooting...

How many students at Berkeley? They have 77 police officers.

I think there are about 30k, at least there was about that number 20 years ago.....


Berkeley is an urban school in a mid size city. VA Tech is in a small town in western VA. It doesn't surprise me that Berkeley has nearly twice as many officers.
