"Do you think we should blame you?" Yes. You should sleep with a pistol in hand and the safety off. Just in case something like that were to occur. At least, that is the degree of reasoning we are seeing on this.

Try your analogy again, it's short on relevant facts. Try this one: If I had a two hour notice my neighbor was shot and killed, I think I would be better prepared for when the shooter came to my house.
