Back to perfidy. I think some posters on SI actually think these posts matter and that it's some rather higher level responsibility of theirs to put their opponents (otherwise known as the "bad" guys) in their place. And do it decisively. And for all to see. They are assiduously positioning themslves for such hatchet jobs.

So it's not about conversation; rather it's about a "higher" calling. IMHO
